My name is Dr. Yazdan and I’m a cosmetic dentist in Newport Beach, CA. I’ve really figured out how to use social media to grow my business. It’s become one of my passions to teach other healthcare professionals how to use social media to grow their businesses as well. So if you’re putting all this work into social media but not seeing results, It’s likely because you’re not understanding the point of WHO you are actually talking to. You see, you need to know who you are actually trying to attract into your office. Without knowing who you are talking to, your efforts will fall flat. And What I mean by who you are talking to… it’s just one person. You need to get clear on who that ONE person you are talking to is. Who do you want to attract? Who is it that you want to work with? I call this person your ideal patient.
So how well do I know this person? Let me say this…. I know this person so well, that when I post, I post with such specificity that I can get patients into my office that will hold their phone on a specific photo and say “THIS is the reason I came to your office. You get me. You understand EXACTLY what I think and how I feel.”
Understanding your ideal patient is everything. And once you understand who you are talking to, everything else will be so much more clear. I want you to be able to do the same thing. So how did you learn to understand who you are talking to? Well, you need to answer a ton of questions. Is your ideal patient male or female? Married or single? What city does he/she live in? What kind of car do they have? Do they have children? How about pets? Where does he/she shop? Does he/she drink coffee or tea? When I did this, I basically went through a series of detailed questions, created my ideal patient… the person that I want in my office, the person that I want to attract and work with. I want you to do the same.
Create a series of detailed questions and get into the mindset of your ideal patient and start answering those questions. You and your business will be so happy you did.
