If you’re just getting started and you’re not sure how to create a brand on social media that actually gets noticed, then this video (up above) is for you. My name is Dr. Desiree Yazdan and I’m the cosmetic dentist in Newport Beach, California. And I have built my entire business using social media, and I want to help you do the same.
The thing is the internet is so saturated with personal brands, but this video will teach you how to create a brand and stand out in a crowd. For more tips on how you can use social media to create a brand and turn your followers into patients, make sure you subscribe to my channel. In this video, I’m going to give you the four essential steps that you need to take in order to create a brand online. I’ve used these same steps to create my own brand online and I’ve helped other healthcare professionals do the same and now it is your turn.
Step #1 is to determine your area of expertise. Before you start building up your social media platforms or your blog, you need to niche down and get specific and know what you want to be known for. The world of personal branding is completely flooded, so get specific on an area that you’re really good at and very passionate about and don’t try to be everything to everybody. Instead, try to laser focus in on your expertise. Now, I want you to comment below with your area of expertise. I want to know what you do, who you are and what you are an expert in.
Step #2 is going to be to identify who your ideal patient is. If you’re trying to talk to everybody, you’re actually talking to nobody. When you start actually narrowing down who exactly it is that you want to serve, you will be able to create content with such specificity that your ideal patient or your ideal client will be drawn to you.
Now, I go into great detail on this in my program Grow With the Gram that teaches healthcare professionals how to use Instagram to create a brand and grow their business. If you’re in my program, make sure you go into the lesson on identifying your ideal audience. If you’re not in my program, no problem. I’ve got a great blog post that you can use to help identify your ideal audience or your ideal patient. CLICK HERE for the link to that blog.
Step #3 is to start creating content consistently. In order to create a brand, you have to show consistency! Whether it’s a weekly blog post, a post on social media, whatever it is, you need to become a trusted source through your content. If you have trouble creating content consistently, I have another video on that which I will also link to in the description below this video. Make sure to watch that video as well.
Another thing that I have to offer you is if you’re having trouble creating content consistently, I have an Instagram guide for healthcare professionals that is completely free. It is basically 30 captions that you can copy and paste when you’re tired or use them as an inspiration or templates to create your own post. And it also comes with a daily Instagram strategy so you know exactly what you’re doing every day when you hop on that platform. CLICK HERE to download the guide!
Step #4 is going to be to get your social media strategy on point. Go through all of your social media accounts and consistently brand yourself on each of the platforms. Use the same type of imagery, the same language, and make sure your message is clear amongst all of those performs. Now, you know how to get started on creating your brand. I want you to start with these four steps and then elaborate from here. And don’t forget to download that free Instagram guide that is linked below this video.
And finally if you like this video, then make sure to let me know by liking it and sharing it with your fellow healthcare professionals. And subscribe to my channel and comment below with the word “helpful” if this video was helpful for you. I will see you in the next video/blog post.
